On-Site Lab

We have our own lab on-site. Having a lab on-site allows us to maintain the highest level of quality by not having to “farm out” our denture services to some warehouse lab somewhere else. This also allows us to help control costs and provide you with your dentures sooner than you'd ever imagine. All of our dentures & partials are custom-fabricated using only materials that meet or exceed the American Dental Association's recommended specifications on denture materials.

Argyle Dental Center: Embracing Technology

In addition to our qualified staff of doctors, Argyle Dental Center provides state-of-the-art resources and technology. These include: 3D Scanning/Imaging, CAD/CAM Modeling technology, and our own On-site Dental/Implant Lab from which the craftsmanship and artistry of our Lab Technicians can be seen in every patient’s replacement teeth.

We continue to keep our practice operating at the forefront of technological advancements. This philosophy provides many benefits to our patients, our dental team, and our environment:

  • Digital Communication
  • Digital Printing
  • Digital X-Ray
  • Digital Scanning
  • Digital Designing
  • Digital Milling

3D Scanning & Imaging

Low-Dose, Extraordinary 3D Image Detail

  • Our new 3D x-ray system can be considered a new category of imaging system. It provides the advantages of high-resolution, relatively low dose limited volume 3D imaging at an affordable price. These savings are passed along to our patients.
  • The three-dimensional digital imaging we use provides highly detailed and accurate images of a patient’s jaw anatomy that can be analyzed from any viewing angle. This is particularly useful in the diagnosis and implant treatment planning process. We can scan, plan, and design your dental case before any actual treatment might begin. We can then securely send that data to our lab that uses CAD/CAM milling to fabricate specific dental components for your case. This process means: improved safety, improved control & predictability in final esthetics as well as time savings.
  • Our imaging system’s localized field of view limits irradiation of the patient.

On-Site Lab Description

  • Dr. Bibb decided years ago that in order to provide the best that modern, advanced dental technology has to offer and to improve the efficiency of the process while minimizing errors or the need for adjustments ... and to be able to Guarantee it... would require having his own on-site dental lab. “Our on-site lab is here to stay!” –Dr. Bibb.
  • Meet The Lab: Lawrence heads up our on-site lab team. He has over 25 years of experience handcrafting the cosmetic, restorative and reconstructive components that we use on a daily basis.
  • Our lab technicians are always on-hand when one of our doctors is consulting with or evaluating a patient for custom-made dental components: Dentures, partials, implant–retained prosthetics, crown & bridge diagnostics, bite guards, or TMJ appliances, etc.The common errors in fabrication of dentistry components are virtually eliminated. Quality control standards are the highest attainable.
  • “On-Site Lab” also means ‘same-day denture service’ (with many cases) to help improve the efficiency and the quality of the services.

On-Site Lab Benefits our Doctors AND Patients at Argyle Dental Center

  • Turnaround is less than half the time of other labs.
  • Our lab technicians are available during all clinic hours to make sure that the shape, shade, and contour of all dental work fits properly and is custom made to the patient's likes and needs.
  • Any adjustments can be completed quickly and the patient usually does not need to be rescheduled for another appointment. Our lab technicians are there to make changes as needed, often on the same day and usually within less than one hour.
  • It allows the doctors at Argyle Dental Center to see the dental lab work from start to finish and helps them keep tabs on the quality and the progress. When dentists send work to outside labs they never see what happens with their patient's lab case. At our office we discuss each individual case from start to finish and maintain daily evaluations on all lab cases.
  • Most difficult cases are pre-planned with our lab technicians. This allows us to anticipate problem areas before we begin. This means fewer appointments and less patient inconvenience.
